An award-winning, physician-owned medical center in Durham, NC is seeking a full-time on-site Hospitalist Physician to join our highly collaborative clinical team. As a Hospitalist, you will be responsible for managing acute medical care needs through the entire continuum—from pre-admission testing to inpatient and post-operative care—while working closely with surgical and specialty teams.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct inpatient care and manage complex medical cases
- Oversee patients throughout the continuum of care: pre-admission, inpatient, and post-op
- Collaborate with surgical, specialty, and nursing teams to ensure high-quality care
- Participate in patient safety and quality improvement initiatives
- Document and communicate effectively using the electronic medical record system
Requirements:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Unrestricted medical license to practice in the State of North Carolina
- Valid BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Demonstrated experience in hospital medicine, including care coordination and acute case management
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to make timely, critical decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities
- Proficiency in EMR systems and basic computer skills
