Locums Primary Care Physician (PCP)

We are seeking a Locums Primary Care Physician (PCP) to join a well-established practice in Downey, CA. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in a supportive environment while providing high-quality outpatient care. 

The ideal candidate will be patient-focused, collaborative, and committed to delivering comprehensive care to patients of all ages. 

Compensation:  $140.00-$150.00 Per Hour 

Responsibilities: 

• Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages. 

• Perform routine physicals, chronic disease management, and preventive care. 

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses. 

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab work. 

• Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications as needed. 

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR). 

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated patient care. 

Requirements: 

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution. 

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. 

• Active California medical license and DEA. 

• BLS certification required.  

• Prior outpatient primary care experience preferred.
