Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate PMHNP to deliver high-quality outpatient mental health care to diverse patient populations. This role offers the flexibility to work onsite at our partner facilities or remotely via telehealth, depending on your preference and licensure. The ideal candidate is committed to evidence-based, patient-centered care and enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform psychiatric assessments, diagnose mental health conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Manage medications and monitor treatment efficacy and safety.
- Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, nursing staff, therapists, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Contribute to care planning and discharge recommendations.
- Document patient encounters and treatment plans in a timely and compliant manner.
- Adhere to all ethical, legal, and regulatory standards governing psychiatric practice.
Qualifications:
- Licensed and certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in any U.S. state.
- Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain.
- Experience in outpatient mental health strongly preferred.
- Telepsychiatry experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and clinical decision-making skills.
- Comfortable using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and telehealth platforms.
- Flexible availability for part-time or full-time scheduling.
