Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Consult Liaison Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to provide telehealth psychiatric care for patients of all ages. This role offers a flexible schedule and is ideal for a provider interested in providing consult liaison services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform psychiatric evaluations and manage medications for patients across the lifespan (children, adolescents, and adults) in an emergency department setting.
- Provide consult liaison services to support emergency department staff and ensure timely psychiatric interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams to deliver coordinated, high-quality care.
- Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation in line with clinical and regulatory requirements.
- Apply a patient-centered approach to care, tailoring treatment plans to meet individual needs and preferences.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry.
- Active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state.
- Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one.
- Experience with telepsychiatry and managing diverse, multi-age patient populations is highly preferred.
- Must be able to work remotely; candidates can reside anywhere in the U.S.
