Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate PMHNP to deliver high-quality outpatient mental health care to diverse patient populations. The ideal candidate is committed to evidence-based, patient-centered care and enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Must be comfortable with MAT
- Perform psychiatric assessments, diagnose mental health conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Manage medications and monitor treatment efficacy and safety.
- Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, nursing staff, therapists, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Contribute to care planning and discharge recommendations.
- Document patient encounters and treatment plans in a timely and compliant manner.
- Adhere to all ethical, legal, and regulatory standards governing psychiatric practice.
Qualifications:
- Licensed and certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in the state of Missouri.
- Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain.
- Experience in outpatient mental health strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and clinical decision-making skills.
- Comfortable using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Flexible availability for part-time or full-time scheduling.
