**Assignment Details**
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: Ongoing
- Coverage Type: No Call
- Schedule: Full-time surgical coverage; 15 patients per shift
- Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
- Privileges required; temporary privileges available
- EMR: Athena & Meditech
- Support staff: 1 RN, 1 PA/NP, 1 office staff
- Credentialing: ~30 days

**Clinical Details**
- General adult surgery
- Laparoscopic procedures required including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty, Nissen fundoplication
- Chest tube insertion and central line insertion preferred

**Requirements**
- Board Certified
- Active Kentucky license or IMLC
- ACLS and BLS
- Able to perform required laparoscopic procedures
- Experience in general surgery across inpatient and outpatient care

**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel: Reimbursed
