Children's hospital in Fort Myers, Florida is seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join a highly respected and collaborative neonatal team. This is a full-time, permanent position within a 70-bed Level III NICU, offering an exceptional practice environment focused on family-centered, developmentally sensitive care.

* 70-bed, modern Level III NICU
* Two-hospital health system with 7,000 deliveries annually
* Cape Coral facility provides Level I low-risk delivery services
* Primary responsibilities include attending coverage in the Level III NICU
* Well-baby care and backup coverage (Level I) with at-home support
* Comprehensive subspecialty services available (excluding cardiovascular surgery and ECMO)
* In-house call model with 24-hour NNP coverage
* Team includes 10 neonatologists and 10 NNPs

**Schedule**

* 12-hour shifts (option for 24-hour shifts based on experience)
* 156 hours per month (1,872 annually)
* Not a commuter or block-schedule position; local residency required
* Relocation may be required for non-local candidates

**Candidate Requirements (All required)**

* Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing
* NNP Board Certification
* FNP, PNP, or other NP certifications not accepted
* Active Florida RN/ARNP license or willingness to obtain
* Minimum 2 years’ experience as an NNP (no new graduate or locums candidates)
* DEA (must be obtained prior to start)
