Locums Anesthesia Physician

We are seeking a Locums Anesthesiology Physician to provide full-scope anesthesia care in a hospital setting in Midland, Michigan. This assignment offers flexible scheduling with a balanced call rotation.

 

Position Details

 

• Schedule: Full-time, flexible
• Call: 1:8 rotation, post-call day off
• Practice Setting: Hospital-based, covering surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures
• EMR & Dictation: EPIC / Dragon

 

Responsibilities

 

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care for patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical, nursing, and perioperative teams to ensure safe and effective anesthesia management.
• Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia care in EPIC.
• Participate in on-call rotation, providing coverage as needed with post-call day off.

 

Qualifications

 

• U.S. Medical Degree or foreign equivalent
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Anesthesiology
• Must have or be eligible for an unrestricted Michigan medical license and Controlled Substance License
• PALS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Candidates eligible for IMLC or waiting for a Michigan license will be considered
