Locums Diagnostic Radiology Physician

We are seeking a skilled Locums Diagnostic Radiologist to provide weekend daytime telemedicine coverage for a reputable health system in Grass Valley, CA. This role focuses on reading a high volume of general diagnostic studies and supporting a busy radiology team remotely.

Compensation:  $430/hour

 

Position Details

 

• Location: Telemedicine (must reside in: CA, CO, MI, NY, SC, or FL)
  Radiologists must live in one of these states due to Medicare billing enrollment restrictions.
• Shift Type: Weekend Day Shift – Telemedicine
• Setting: Remote diagnostic radiology
• Patient Volume (shared between 2 providers):
• Approx. 75 CTs/day
• 20 MRIs/day
• 200 X-rays/day

 

Responsibilities

 

• Interpret general diagnostic imaging studies including:
• CT
• MRI
• Ultrasound
• X-ray
• Provide accurate, timely reports for all modalities.
• Collaborate with onsite clinicians as needed through telemedicine communication.

 

Required Skills & Competencies

 

• Strong competence in general diagnostic radiology.
• Proficiency in:
• MR
• CT
• Ultrasound
• X-ray
• MSK and Body imaging experience preferred.

Requirements

 

• Board Certified Diagnostic Radiologist
• Active California Medical License
• California Fluoroscopy Supervisor & Operator Permit
• Must reside in CA, CO, MI, NY, SC, or FL
• Available for weekend day shift telemedicine coverage.
