Job Description
Locums - A well-renowned facility is seeking a Thoracic Surgeon for 24-hour call coverage in Richmond, Virginia.
- Board Certified Thoracic Surgeon
- Jan 16th 5pm - Jan 19 7am and Feb 6th 5p - Feb 9 7a
- 24 hr call coverage
- Required procedures include bronchoscopy, robot-assisted and video-assisted thoracic surgery, EBUS, EUS, tube thoracostomy, tracheostomy, pericardial window, thoracic aortic aneurysms, mediastinoscopy, segmentectomy, lobectomy, bilobectomy, pneumonectomy etc.
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Average number of cases per day approximately: 2-3
- Local candidate preferred
- EMR EPIC
- Active VA license, DEA, ACLS, and BLS required
- Flat rate per 24 hr shift, mileage and malpractice provided
