**Locums-to-Perm | Associate Medical Director (OB/GYN) | No Call | Dallas, TX**

- 13-week locum assignment with strong intent to transition to permanent
- Leads utilization management, quality initiatives, and provider performance review

**Assignment Details**
- Coverage Type: No Call
- Schedule: Full-time administrative/clinical oversight, Monday–Friday
- Setting: Managed care environment supporting utilization management, prior authorization review, appeals, quality, pharmacy oversight, fraud/waste/abuse review
- Collaboration: Works closely with Chief Medical Officer, Senior Medical Director, Pharmacy Director, and interdisciplinary committees
- Travel: Not open to 1099 or visa candidates; local candidates strongly preferred

**Clinical Details**
- Reviews prior authorization and appeal requests for medical necessity
- Performs peer-to-peer consultations
- Provides oversight for UM, disease management, and quality programs
- Develops medical policies, clinical standards, and evidence-based guidelines
- Analyzes provider performance data and participates in credentialing reviews
- Supports pharmacy benefit oversight and coordination
- Participates in fraud/waste/abuse program evaluation
- Represents the plan in interactions with state and regulatory bodies
- Participates in process improvement initiatives, workflow optimization, and committee leadership
- Responsible for development of departmental goals, budgeting, and staff supervision

**Requirements**
- Board Certified OB/GYN (no exceptions)
- Texas medical license or willingness to obtain
- Experience in managed care and prior authorization
- Experience participating in UM committees preferred
- Clean malpractice and license history preferred
- Ability to supervise and lead multidisciplinary teams
- Strong knowledge of Texas Medicaid regulations
- Experience with care coordination, population health, pharmacy integration, and behavioral health components
- Strong administrative, leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to manage confidential information and adapt to shifting priorities

**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel: Reimbursed
