Job Description
-Located in Schenectady, NY
Join a well-established and highly collaborative hospital medicine program offering strong system support, a physician-friendly environment, and a stable 7 on/7 off schedule. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced hospitalists and new graduates seeking a rewarding inpatient role.
**Highlights**
-Day shifts: 7am–7pm, 7 on/7 off
-Closed ICU
-Team-oriented, collaborative environment
-Dedicated physicians and advanced practitioners
-Not accepting visa candidates
**Responsibilities**
-Provide comprehensive inpatient care, including admissions, daily rounds, and discharge planning
-Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
-Respond promptly to medical emergencies and acute changes in patient status
-Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the EMR
**Requirements**
-Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
-Active NYS medical license and DEA
-New graduates encouraged to apply
-Not offering employment sponsorship
**Compensation & Benefits**
-Competitive compensation: $283,920 with productivity earning potential
