The Role:
• Location: Dardanelle / Russellville, Arkansas
• Assignment duration: Locum Obstetrics/Gynecologist needed to start ASAP and work ongoing
• AR license preferred.
• Looking for clinic coverage as well as overnight and weekend call. Weekend coverage starts Friday 8 am till Monday 8 am.
• Schedule for clinic 4 days/ week 8am -4 pm with an hour lunch.
• Call will be 1:4. Call Type: Beeper.
• No CNM 39;s for hospital but NP 39;s help in practice. In house lab and ultrasound. NST on site.
• Required Specialty Skills: Low risk pregnancy, FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE, OB Ultrasounds - Performance of, interpretation, Level I/Screening (viability), Level II/Targeted (anatomic), Routine delivery, Vaginal, Low forceps, Decision-making for c-section, Complicated delivery. C-section, Breech, Multiple births, Abruptions, VBAC 39;s, Repair of 3rd; 4th degree lacerations, Office/minor gynecology - IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.
• Surgical gynecology - , Open, Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only - tubal ligation, LOA 39;s, chronal tubation, Operative/major (includes diagnostic) - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA 39;s, Laser certification.
• Preferred Specialty Skills: High risk pregnancy, Amniocentesis.
• Practice Settings: Inpatient, Outpatient.
• Fellowship: Preferred.
• Required Certifications: BLS, PALS, Fetal Monitoring.
• Licensed in AR or IMLC.
• Level 3 Trauma.
• EMR: Athena; Meditech.
• Credentialing: Expedited privileges available for providers with CLEAN histories.
