The Role:
• Location: Near Los Angeles, CA
• Assignment duration: Locum Diagnostic Radiologist needed starting as soon as credentialed and work ongoing
• Onsite HIGHLY preferred, will consider telerad for well qualified candidates (onsite will be moved to front of line for consideration).
• Onsite Schedule Details: On-site daytime shifts (8am-5pm). If working weekdays, candidate must be willing to work equal share of Fridays (we will not consider candidates who only work Mon-Thurs). Site prefers candidates that can cover weekends as part of this; willing to reduce the minimum # shifts per month if candidate covers weekends.
• Remote Schedule Details: evening shifts ending at 1am, between 4pm-9pm start, examples: 4pm-1am, 7pm-1am, 8pm-1am, 9pm-1amMinimum 5 shifts per month
• Estimated 7 wRVU/hour if onsite, and 10 wRVU/hour if remote
• Avg. Daily Census: 60-90 wRVU’s
• Modalities: CT, MRI, X-ray, US, NM or some subset thereof. Procedures: GI Fluoro studies / lumbar puncture (if on-site) / none (if tele)Voice recognition system (Dictation software for reads): Nuance Powerscribe
• Candidate must reside in LA or Orange Counties to reduce travel/lodging costs
• Board Certification Requirements: BC in Diagnostic Radiology, Fellowship training in Neuroradiology, Musculoskeletal, Chest, Body/Abdomen, or Interventional Radiology.
• Must be experienced in brain and spine MRI, stroke protocol CT/CTA/CTP. Active CA License, and active CA RHL needed
• Certifications: Providers must have CA x-ray operator and supervisor permit.
• Minimum 1 year experience - No gaps in employment greater than 0.5 year
• Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days.
