Job Description

You will enjoy practicing in this city near Fort Bragg. You will have the great North Carolina weather for relaxing on Atlantic beaches with all the city amenities offered in the Raleigh-Durham area nearby. The community is supportive of youth sports and music programs and offers exceptional public and private school options for those with families.

  • Hospital-employed faculty role with Family Medicine residency program
  • 80% preceptorship, 20% clinical practice with 1:7 call schedule
  • 1 day per week direct patient care, 4 days supervising residents
  • Board certification in Family Medicine required (ABFM or AOBFP)
  • Core faculty experience required for this academic position
  • Hospital rotation 1 week per month supervising inpatient service
  • Patient census of 15 - 18 patients per day
