An exciting leadership opportunity is available for an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join a brand-new 10-bed LDRP Level I Nursery opening in late 2024. This role offers autonomy, a stable schedule, and the chance to shape a new program within a highly respected regional health system.

**Highlights**
-Brand-new Level I Nursery with ~600 deliveries annually
-Average daily census of ~5 newborns
-24-hour shifts: in-house rounding by day, call from home at night
-Responsibilities include newborn rounds, attending deliveries upon request, and stabilizing/transporting infants needing higher-level care
-Collaboration with a Level III NICU team located just 7 miles away
-Team of 4 NNPs at the new Belmont unit
-Optional PRN opportunities in the nearby Level III NICU (not required)
-Health system recognized as a “Top 100 Hospital” by Thomson Reuters
-Not accepting new grads; minimum 2+ years NNP experience required
-No locums considered

**Requirements**
-NNP Board Certification (FNP, PNP, and other NP specialties not accepted)
-Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing
-Active or ability to obtain NC license
-At least 2 years of post-training NNP experience
-DEA required (prior to start)
