Join a well-established cardiology team in Richland, WA, providing inpatient cardiac care at a Level II trauma hospital. You’ll work with seven cardiologists and support from three NPs/PAs, covering adult inpatient cardiology needs on a supplemental locum tenens basis from Feb 1, 2026 to Sep 1, 2026.

What you’ll do

• Manage 100% adult inpatient cardiology (ICU and general wards), including phone consults and daily rounding.
• Handle a patient census of about 5–10 per day.
• Provide night call coverage (beeper) with a 20-minute response expectation.
• Clinical responsibilities include inpatient cardiology, cardiac-related internal medicine, echocardiography (including TEE), and nuclear cardiology.

Schedule and setting

• Shift: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, structured as two weeks per month on a 7-on / 7-off rotation.
• Service setting: inpatient + hospital.
• EMR: EPIC.
• Equipment and onsite services: treadmill, echo, EKG, lab onsite.

Credentials and logistics

• Active WA license or IMLC required.
• Board certified (ABMS/AOA), BLS, and ACLS required.
• Hospital privileges required; temporary privileges available.
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered.
