JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: BC/BE by ABIM in Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant required
- Certifications: Completion of an ACGME accredited heart failure fellowship required
- Experience: More than 5 years post-fellowship experience preferred; proficiency in short-term mechanical support devices such as Impella and ECMO required
- Other Qualifications: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work within a multidisciplinary team; motivated to support a growing practice
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide inpatient and outpatient clinical management of advanced heart failure patients
- Round on inpatient Advanced Heart Failure service
- Deliver ambulatory care for heart failure patients
- Collaborate with APPs and multidisciplinary care teams
- Manage cases requiring short-term mechanical circulatory support devices such as Impella and ECMO
- Participate in an integrated cardiology and surgical care model focused on comprehensive heart failure services
