Rate: $2,308 / 36-hours

Required credentials and experience:

• Current RN license in California
• BLS, ACLS, PALS required; TNCC preferred
• 2–3+ years Emergency Room nursing experience
• Previous charge/leadership experience preferred
• Strong leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to function in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee ER operations and coordinate patient flow for timely, quality care
• Act as primary resource and escalation point for staff on shift
• Support triage, prioritize patients by acuity, and allocate staff assignments
• Provide direct patient care: assessments, medication administration, emergency interventions
• Monitor compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Communicate with physicians, nursing staff, and other departments to coordinate care
• Assist with staffing adjustments, scheduling, and duty assignments
• Mentor and support nursing staff; resolve clinical and operational issues
• Accurately document patient care and ensure adherence to hospital/ER policies
• Participate in performance improvement projects and emergency response activities
