Travel RN – Endoscopy/Special Procedures (York, ME)

We’re looking for an experienced RN to join a team in York, ME, for a contract/travel assignment starting ASAP. This is a day shift position (6:30 AM–4:00 PM) covering 36 hours with a pay rate of $2,052/36-hours. The role focuses on endoscopy and special procedures.

What you’ll be doing:

• Prepare patients for endoscopic and other procedural care: perform assessments, provide education, and ensure comfort and safety.
• Assist physicians during procedures such as EGD, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, ERCP, and similar interventions.
• Monitor vital signs, sedation levels, and patient status throughout procedures and recovery.
• Administer medications and moderate sedation according to facility protocols.
• Provide thorough post-procedure recovery care and clear discharge instructions.
• Maintain equipment, follow infection-control practices, and uphold safety standards.
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses.

What we’re looking for:

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred or may be required by facility.
• Prior experience in endoscopy, GI lab, PACU, or other procedural nursing is preferred.
• Solid assessment skills, IV competency, and experience monitoring sedation.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
