Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiology (ARRT)(R)
- Active Kentucky License
- CPR Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine radiologic procedures (e.g., chest, bone, skull, spine).
- Schedule and perform exams as ordered by medical staff.
- Manage patient flow, explain procedures to patients, and ensure minimal anxiety.
- Evaluate radiographic equipment for calibration and repairs.
- Work independently to assess and select technical exposure factors for diagnostic exams.
- Transmit and retrieve X-ray images electronically and log them into the Bureau's Electronic Medical Record (BEMR).
- Perform quality assurance and maintenance of radiology equipment.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols during radiographic procedures.
- Provide services in compliance with established guidelines and standards of care.
- Any other duties as assigned.
