Contract/Travel Registered Nurse — Float Psychiatric
Location: Holyoke, MA
Start: ASAP
Shift: Days, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Duration: Contract/Travel
Rate: $2,424 per 40-hour week
Requirements:
- Active RN license in the state of practice
- Psychiatric/mental health nursing experience preferred
- BLS required; psychiatric certifications preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, crisis management, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform ongoing mental health assessments and monitor patient status
- Safely administer medications, treatments, and psychiatric interventions
- Support and participate in therapeutic activities and provide patient/family education
- Accurately document care, changes in condition, and interventions in the medical record
- Communicate and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing staff across units
