Required qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) state license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher
• Previous nursing leadership experience (Director of Nursing preferred)
• BLS certification

Key responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and foster a collaborative, positive work environment for nursing staff
• Manage and coordinate patient care, ensuring adherence to protocols and high-quality outcomes
• Recruit, hire, orient, train, and supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
• Ensure regulatory compliance, infection control, patient safety, and quality assurance
• Develop and deliver educational programs to maintain and improve staff competencies
• Oversee nursing department budget and resource allocation
• Enforce adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
• Advocate for patients and address concerns to support patient-centered care
• Collaborate with quality improvement teams to identify trends and opportunities for care improvement
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient care, assessments, and departmental activities
• Contribute to strategic planning and department initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
