Hospice RN (Contract/Travel) — Bennington, VT — Days, Mon–Fri, 8a–4p

We’re seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join a hospice team in Bennington, VT on a contract/travel basis. This is a day-shift role (Mon–Fri, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.), starting ASAP. The assignment is for 37 hours per week with a pay rate of $2,242 per 37-hour week.

What you’ll bring

• Active RN license for the practicing state.
• Experience in hospice, palliative care, or end-of-life nursing is preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, clear communication skills, and a compassionate bedside manner.
• BLS required; hospice/palliative care certifications are a plus.

What you’ll do

• Assess and monitor patients’ conditions, focusing on pain and symptom control.
• Administer medications and interventions aimed at maximizing patient comfort.
• Teach patients and their families about hospice services, disease progression, and end-of-life planning.
• Keep accurate documentation and maintain clear communication with the interdisciplinary hospice team.
• Offer emotional and psychosocial support to patients and loved ones during a difficult time.
