Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Infection Control (Kealakekua, HI)

Join a contract travel assignment in Kealakekua, HI, starting ASAP. This role focuses on infection prevention and control, offering $2,844 per 40-hour week.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain infection prevention policies, programs, and best practices.
• Perform surveillance, audits, and outbreak investigations to identify and mitigate infection risks.
• Provide training and education to clinical and support staff on protocols and infection-control measures.
• Partner with clinical and administrative teams to drive quality improvement and reduce healthcare-associated infections.
• Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations and reporting requirements.

Required qualifications:

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• BLS certification.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience in infection control, epidemiology, or quality/clinical risk management preferred.
• Certification in Infection Control (CIC) preferred.
