Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/MSW) — Contract/Travel, Greenbrae (Mon–Fri Days)

We’re looking for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join a supportive healthcare team in Kentfield, CA. This is a contract/travel opportunity with an immediate start. You’ll work Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. (days), delivering clinical social work services in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Compensation is $2,257 per 36-hour week.

What you’ll bring

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) and an active LCSW or equivalent state license.
• Solid clinical assessment, counseling, and communication skills.
• Experience in healthcare or clinical social work is preferred.
• Familiarity with community resources, social services, and mental health supports.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

What you’ll do

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and create individualized care plans.
• Provide counseling, therapy, and crisis intervention to patients and families.
• Partner with medical teams on patient care coordination and discharge planning.
• Link patients to community resources, support services, and financial assistance programs.
• Keep accurate, timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress.
• Advocate for patient needs while maintaining ethical and legal standards.
