Requirements:
- Active RN license in the practicing state.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Experience in PCU, step-down, telemetry, or interventional care preferred.
- Strong cardiac monitoring and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, monitor, and manage patients requiring progressive or interventional care.
- Interpret cardiac rhythms, respond to changes in patient condition, and initiate appropriate interventions.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per provider orders.
- Provide pre- and post-procedure care for patients undergoing interventional procedures (e.g., cardiac, vascular).
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately.
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
