Requirements:
- Active RN license in the practicing state.
- Experience in invasive cardiology, cath lab, or critical care nursing preferred.
- Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
- BLS required; ACLS and specialty cardiology certifications preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and the cardiac lab for procedures such as catheterizations and angioplasty.
- Monitor patient vital signs and cardiac status before, during, and after procedures.
- Administer medications, assist with interventions, and maintain sterile technique.
- Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and cardiac health.
- Document care accurately and collaborate with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams.
