Overview:
Provide direct nursing care on Labor & Delivery, Mother-Baby, and Postpartum units. Monitor maternal and fetal status, assist with labor and delivery, perform newborn assessments, and educate families on postpartum and infant care.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Experience in labor & delivery, postpartum, or mother-baby nursing preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient-education skills.
• BLS and NRP required; ACLS preferred.

Core Responsibilities:

• Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs and fetal heart tracings during labor and delivery.
• Assist with labor progression, deliveries, postpartum care, and mother-baby rooming.
• Administer medications and implement physician-ordered interventions.
• Perform newborn assessments and initial care.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, newborn care, and breastfeeding support.
• Accurately document care and coordinate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
