Requirements
- Active RN license in the practicing state
- Experience in labor & delivery and/or postpartum nursing preferred
- BLS and NRP required; ACLS preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, patient education, and documentation skills
Responsibilities
- Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs and status during labor and delivery
- Assist with labor, delivery, immediate postpartum care, and newborn assessments
- Administer medications and perform ordered interventions
- Provide education to patients and families on postpartum recovery, newborn care, and breastfeeding
- Accurately document care and communicate/collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
