Night RN – L&D, Postpartum & Nursery (Travel) | Newport, VT — $2,560/36h

We’re looking for a compassionate, skilled RN to join a team in Newport, VT on a contract/travel basis. This night-shift position starts ASAP and covers L&D, postpartum, and nursery care — a great fit if you enjoy supporting moms and newborns through delivery and the first days of life. The rate is $2,560 for a 36-hour assignment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs throughout labor and delivery.
• Support labor and delivery and provide postpartum and newborn care.
• Administer medications and necessary interventions, and perform newborn assessments.
• Teach and coach families about postpartum recovery, newborn care, and breastfeeding.
• Accurately document care and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, family-centered outcomes.

What we’re looking for:

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Experience in labor & delivery, postpartum, or nursery nursing is preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, clear communication, and patient-education skills.
• BLS and NRP required; ACLS preferred.
