Hours/Rate: $2,891 / 36-hour assignment
Requirements:
- Active RN license in practice state
- Obstetrics / Labor & Delivery experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
- BLS required; ACLS and NRP preferred
Core responsibilities:
- Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs and fetal heart tracings during labor
- Assist with labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care
- Administer medications and interventions per orders
- Provide patient and family education and support on childbirth and newborn care
- Accurately document care and report patient status to the care team
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other clinical staff
