Travel RN — Labor & Delivery (Nights) — Kealakekua, HI (36-hr Contract)

Join a team in Kealakekua, HI, as a contract/travel RN on nights — start ASAP. This role focuses on labor and delivery, covering 36-hour shifts at a pay rate of $2,686 per shift.

What we’re looking for

• Active RN license for the state where you’ll practice.
• Previous experience in obstetrics or labor & delivery is preferred.
• Strong clinical skills, clear communication, and sharp critical thinking.
• BLS required; ACLS and NRP preferred.

What you’ll do

• Continuously monitor maternal and fetal vital signs during labor and delivery.
• Provide hands-on assistance with labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care.
• Administer medications and carry out prescribed interventions safely.
• Offer education and emotional support to patients and their families about childbirth and newborn care.
• Accurately document care and keep the rest of the healthcare team informed of patient status.
• Work closely with physicians, midwives, and other clinical staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
