What we need:

- Complete patient assessments (physical exams, medical history, medication review) and help develop individualized care plans.
- Give medications and treatments accurately and follow facility protocols.
- Care for wounds and incisions: clean, dress, monitor for infection or complications.
- Monitor and document vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature, respirations) and note any changes in condition.
- Keep detailed, accurate patient records of treatments and medications.
- Teach patients and families about diagnoses, medications, and self-care to support recovery and long-term wellness.
- Start and monitor IVs and IV medications when required, ensuring lines function properly.

- Collect specimens (blood, urine, sputum) for lab testing.
- Work collaboratively with RNs, physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate care.
- Assist with patient comfort and safety: positioning, mobility support, and pain management.
- Respond to emergencies promptly and follow established protocols, including basic life support as needed.
- Follow infection control practices and use PPE appropriately.
- Handle, store, and dispose of medications and supplies in compliance with regulations.
- Promote preventive care (vaccinations, screenings) and support health assessments.
- Advocate for patients’ needs and rights within the care team and facility.
- Stay up to date with nursing best practices through continuing education and training.
- Supervise CNAs or unlicensed assistive personnel when assigned.
- Perform other duties as directed by management.
