Requirements:

• Active RN license in the practicing state
• Experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, or Mother-Baby nursing preferred
• BLS and NRP required; ACLS preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, documentation, and patient-education skills

Core Responsibilities:

• Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor and delivery (vitals, fetal heart monitoring)
• Provide nursing care across labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases
• Administer medications and necessary interventions; perform newborn assessments
• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, newborn care, and breastfeeding
• Accurately document care and collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team
