LPN/LVN – Long Term Care (Albuquerque) • 7‑Week Contract, 36‑hr Week, $1,012/36‑hrs

We’re looking for a dependable Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in Albuquerque, NM for a 7-week contract (non-travel). Start ASAP. The shift pattern is Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM. This local contract pays $1,012 for 36 hours.

What we need from you

• Current, active LPN license for the state.
• BLS certification.

What you’ll do day-to-day
You’ll provide direct, hands-on nursing care under RN or physician oversight. That means administering medications and IVs, monitoring and documenting vital signs, performing wound care, and completing focused patient assessments to help shape individualized care plans. You’ll collect specimens (blood, urine, sputum), manage urinary catheters, and assist with positioning, mobility, and pain control to keep patients comfortable and safe.

You’ll also:

• Keep accurate, timely patient records and report changes in condition.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, and self-care.
• Follow infection control practices and use PPE appropriately.
• Handle, store, and dispose of medications and supplies safely.
• Respond quickly in emergencies and provide basic life support as needed.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, therapists, CNAs, and other staff to coordinate care.
• Promote preventive care (vaccinations, screenings) and advocate for patients’ needs.
• Stay current with nursing best practices through ongoing training.
• Supervise CNAs or unlicensed assistive personnel when assigned.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.
