Requirements:

• Valid, active Registered Nurse state license
• Current BLS certification

Key responsibilities:

• Plan, implement and evaluate nursing care according to patient needs and provider orders
• Administer medications and document administration accurately
• Obtain specimens for testing and ensure proper handling and labeling
• Perform ongoing patient assessments, initiate appropriate interventions, and record patient progress
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and assist with procedures as needed
• Prepare and maintain accurate patient records, including assessments, interventions, education and discharge information
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment; supervise patient conduct and ensure unit order
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
