Locum Tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) — Chambersburg/York, PA (Jan 26–Mar 31, 2026)

We’re seeking a CRNA to help cover a busy inpatient service in Chambersburg, PA (temporary locum tenens). This is a clinical-only role providing supplemental coverage from Jan 26–Mar 31, 2026. Shifts are a mix of 8-, 10- and 12-hour schedules (preferred 4 weeks/month), starting at 7:00 AM with an unpaid 30-minute lunch.

What you’ll be doing

• Provide anesthesia care across a diverse adult and pediatric case mix in a 13-bed department.
• Work under medical direction with temporary privileges available.
• Typical case types include cardiac, ortho, vascular, head & spine, neuro, OB, pediatric, regional, and thoracic procedures.
• Perform spinal/epidural anesthesia, regional blocks, post-op epidurals, extremity blocks, and pain-management procedures (including epidural steroid injections lumbar/cervical with x-ray guidance when needed).
• Manage ventilation, central and arterial line placement, and PA catheters; evaluate and manage acute volume and blood pressure issues.

Team and volume

• CRNA to anesthesiology ratio: 1:3
• Average patient volume: ~10 cases/day
• Support staff: 3 RNs and 1 office staff
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Active PA license
• Board certified
• BLS, ACLS, PALS
