Location: Cordova, AK
Position: Registered Nurse — Long Term Care (Contract/Travel)
Start: ASAP
Shift: Days, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM (36-hour workweek)
Rate: $2,434 / 36 hours
Required qualifications:
- Active RN license in the practicing state
- BLS certification
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, documentation, and communication skills
- Additional geriatric or long-term care certifications preferred
Primary responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor resident conditions and vital signs
- Safely administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions
- Develop, implement, and follow individualized care plans
- Provide education to residents and families on health management and care plans
- Accurately document care and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
