Night Shift RN – Long-Term Care in Wrangell, AK | Full‑Time, Geriatric Focus

Join a close‑knit team in Wrangell, AK, as a full‑time night shift RN supporting residents in a long‑term care setting. We’re looking for a compassionate, clinically strong nurse who’s comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively to keep residents safe, comfortable, and thriving.

What you’ll be doing:

• Perform thorough assessments and monitor residents’ conditions, reacting quickly to changes.
• Safely administer medications, treatments, and wound care according to policies and best practices.
• Accurately document care and maintain compliance with long‑term care regulations.
• Educate residents and families about care plans, goals, and any changes in status.
• Work closely with the interdisciplinary team to deliver resident‑centered care.

What we’re looking for:

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Experience in long‑term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric nursing is preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment skills, clear communication, and a caring bedside manner.
• BLS required; additional geriatric or LTC certifications are a plus.
