Summary:
Manage daily operations of the Surgical Services department, ensuring high-quality perioperative care, regulatory compliance, efficient resource use, and effective team performance.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the practicing state
• Surgical/perioperative nursing experience; leadership/management experience preferred
• BLS required; CNOR or other specialty certifications preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of surgical services
• Supervise, mentor, schedule, and evaluate nursing staff
• Ensure adherence to policies, protocols, and regulatory standards
• Coordinate care and communicate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams
• Manage staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Lead or participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
