Locum OBGYN Physician — 24‑hr Call Coverage, Travel Reimbursed, Ontario OR (Ongoing)

We’re looking for an OB/GYN to provide locum tenens, 24-hour call coverage for an OB/GYN clinic in Ontario, Oregon. Coverage begins January 19, 2026 and continues on an ongoing basis. You’ll take seven call shifts per month with at least one weekend of call each month; shifts run 7:00 to 7:00 and are beeper/phone-based.

Who you’ll care for

• Women of reproductive age with a “bread-and-butter” OB case mix.
• Daily volume varies widely — some days up to a dozen deliveries, other days light (often quiet on weekends).
• You’ll handle admissions based on the OB census, round as needed, and respond to phone consults (averaging about 35 calls related to NSTs or walk-ins).

What the facility is like

• Labor & Delivery: 4 L&D beds.
• Emergency/temporary privileges are available; full hospital privileges are required.

Clinical duties

• Provide 24-hour OB call coverage and emergency obstetrical response.
• Manage labor and delivery patients and perform standard obstetrical procedures.
• Support walk-in NSTs and handle related phone calls.

Requirements and credentials

• Oregon license preferred; candidates without an active Oregon license will be considered (licensure process may take several months).
• BLS required.
• Must be able to handle variable OB call volumes.

• Temporary/emergency privileges available; credentialing can take up to 60 days.
