Schedule:

• Day shifts: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Call: 2nd call/backup
  • Night call window: 5:00 PM–8:00 AM
  • Weekend call: 24-hour coverage
  • Call response time: 30 minutes

Clinical responsibilities:

• Manage 15–30 patients/day
• Phone consults: ~5/day
• Admissions: ~5/day
• Annual deliveries at facility: ~200
• Rounding required
• Procedures: management of high- and low-risk pregnancy, fetal heart rate monitoring (NST/CST/FSE), OB ultrasound, routine deliveries, office GYN care

Support and environment:

• Trauma level III
• EMR: Cerner
• Support staff: 1 APP, 4 MAs, 3 office staff
• Hospital privileges required

Requirements:

• Active Texas medical license
• Board certified (BC)
• BLS and ACLS current
• Clean professional record

Logistics and coverage:

• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided by facility
