Locum Tenens OB/GYN Physician — Granbury, TX (Call-Only; Jan 1, 2026–Ongoing)

We’re seeking an OB/GYN locum to provide supplemental inpatient coverage in Granbury, Texas, beginning January 1, 2026 and ongoing. This is a call-only assignment supporting a busy service with about 630 annual deliveries. You’ll work 24-hour beeper call (7a–7a) with a typical schedule of 9–10 shifts per month and a 1:3 call ratio. Call response time is 30 minutes, and expect to be called back on roughly 80% of shifts. Shifts needed immediately: Jan 1–5.

Typical patient volume while on call: 2–4 patients at a time. Daily responsibilities include admissions (2–4), phone consults (5–7), rounding, and attending deliveries and surgical GYN cases as needed. The department has 8 beds and is a Level IV trauma center. Support includes 3–4 RNs. Common procedures: low-risk pregnancy management, fetal heart rate interpretation, Level I/screening, amniocentesis, routine and complicated delivery, repair of 3rd/4th-degree lacerations, and surgical gynecology.

Technology and credentialing: EMRs used are Athena and Medhost. Temporary privileges are available. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered.

Requirements: active Texas medical license, board certification, BLS, and NRP.
