Nights Obstetrics RN – L&D & Postpartum (Travel, Machias ME) $2,844/40h/week

We’re seeking an experienced RN to join a hospital team in Machias, ME on a contract travel basis. This night-shift position is available ASAP and pays $2,844 for a 40-hour week.

What you’ll be doing:

• Monitor maternal and fetal wellbeing throughout labor and delivery.
• Provide hands-on support during labor, assist with deliveries, and manage immediate postpartum care.
• Administer medications and necessary interventions, and perform postpartum assessments.
• Teach and support new parents on newborn care, breastfeeding, and recovery.
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation and work closely with the multidisciplinary care team.

What we’re looking for:

• Active RN license in the state where you’ll be practicing.
• Experience in labor & delivery, postpartum, or obstetrics is preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, clear communication, and patient education skills.
• BLS and NRP required; ACLS is preferred.
