Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) — 13-Week Contract in Seaford, DE

We’re looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a Seaford, DE team on a 13-week contract starting ASAP. This role supports patient-centered care during a daytime schedule (08:00 AM–04:30 PM).

What you’ll be doing

• Assess patients’ physical and cognitive abilities and evaluate their environments to identify limitations and set realistic goals.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in partnership with patients and the care team.
• Use a variety of therapeutic techniques to improve daily living skills and functional independence.
• Recommend, train in, and monitor use of adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
• Teach and practice activities of daily living (ADLs) to boost patient capability and confidence.
• Educate patients and families on condition management and strategies for independence.
• Regularly reassess and document progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including evaluations and progress notes.
• Participate in multidisciplinary care planning to ensure comprehensive treatment.
• Stay current with best practices in occupational therapy and engage in professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Active, valid Occupational Therapy state license.
• Current CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (including AED).
