Compensation: Travel: $2,052/36 hrs; Local: $2,023/36 hrs

We are seeking an experienced, licensed Occupational Therapist for a 13‑week contract in Skowhegan. The role focuses on evaluating clients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and promoting independence in daily living and community/work reintegration.

Requirements:

• Valid, active Occupational Therapy state license
• Current CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (with AED)

Key responsibilities:

• Assess clients’ physical, cognitive, and environmental needs to identify limitations and set measurable goals
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence‑based treatment plans in collaboration with clients and the interdisciplinary team
• Use a variety of therapeutic techniques to improve daily living skills, functional independence, and safety
• Recommend and instruct use of adaptive equipment and assistive devices
• Provide hands‑on training and practice in daily living activities
• Educate clients and families on condition management and strategies to promote independence
• Monitor, document, and adjust treatment based on client progress; maintain accurate evaluations and progress notes
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team members to support discharge planning and community/work reintegration
• Stay current with occupational therapy best practices and participate in professional development
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management
