Schedule: Sun–Sat, 08:00 AM–04:30 PM
Rate: Travel $2,182 / 36 hrs; Local $2,149 / 36 hrs
Required credentials:
- Valid, active Occupational Therapy state license
- CPR and BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) with AED
Core responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients’ physical and cognitive function and home/environmental barriers; establish treatment goals.
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the interdisciplinary team.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills, functional independence, and safety.
- Recommend, train in, and fit adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
- Instruct and practice activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental ADLs with patients.
- Educate patients and families on condition management and independence strategies.
- Monitor, document, and revise treatment plans based on patient progress; maintain accurate evaluations and progress notes.
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team members to support discharge planning and community/work reintegration.
- Maintain professional competence through continuing education and apply current OT best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
