Contract Occupational Therapist (OT) — Stockton, CA (13-Week Travel Role)

We’re looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a team in Stockton, CA on a 13-week contract starting ASAP. This role follows a weekday schedule (08:00 AM–04:30 PM) and offers competitive pay: Travel rate $1,995/35-hours; Local rate $1,967/35-hours.

What we need from you

• Active, valid Occupational Therapy license for the state.
• CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (including AED).

What you’ll be doing

• Evaluate patients’ physical and cognitive abilities and assess their environments to identify barriers and meaningful goals.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the care team.
• Use a variety of therapeutic approaches to help patients regain or improve daily living skills and independence.
• Recommend and train patients on adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
• Teach and practice daily living activities with patients to build functional skills.
• Educate patients and families on strategies to manage conditions and increase independence.
• Monitor and document progress, adjusting plans as needed to meet evolving goals.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation including evaluations, treatment notes, and discharge planning.
• Support patients’ transitions back to home, community, and work settings.
• Stay current with occupational therapy best practices and participate in professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
