Occupational Therapist (Contract/Travel) — Pittsfield, MA (13-week)

Join a caring team in Pittsfield, MA for a 13-week contract starting ASAP. This role follows an 08:00 AM–04:30 PM schedule and offers competitive pay: Travel rate $1,876/35-hours or Local rate $1,848/35-hours.

What you'll need

• A valid, active Occupational Therapy state license
• Current CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (with AED)

What you’ll be doing
You’ll assess patients’ physical and cognitive abilities and their environments to identify barriers and set meaningful goals. Working closely with patients and the rest of the care team, you’ll develop and implement individualized treatment plans that help people improve daily living skills and increase independence. Expect to:

• Use a range of therapeutic techniques to address functional limitations
• Recommend, instruct on, and train patients in the use of adaptive equipment and assistive devices
• Teach and practice activities of daily living to build confidence and skill
• Educate patients and families on condition management and strategies to promote independence
• Continuously evaluate and document progress, revising plans as needed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
• Maintain accurate, timely records including evaluations and progress notes
• Support patients in safely returning to their communities and workplaces
• Stay current with best practices in occupational therapy and engage in professional development
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
